News: Truck overturns in St. Pete, injuring driver

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A 41-year-old man lost control of his truck while driving on I-275, which led him to crash into a guardrail, causing the truck to overturn and injuring himself in the process Sunday.

The solo collision occurred around 12:30 p.m. on the interstate’s southbound lanes down the road from 38th Avenue North, according to WTSP. EMS crews were quick to arrive at the scene and take the Pinellas Park man to a hospital for treatment.

Florida Highway Patrol did not say if slick road conditions were a contributing factor in the wreck.

Updates will be added after FHP confirms more details.
