HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A man who drove a stolen white Mustang now faces more charges after hitting a Florida Highway Patrol vehicle and then crashing head-on with an Uber vehicle, killing two people.
The 22-year-old man, Leosvany Arias Roman, faces Grand Theft Motor Vehicle charges, two counts of Aggravated Assault on Law Enforcement Officer with Deadly Weapon, felony murder, and vehicular homicide charges, along with others, FOX 13 News reported.
To recap, this collision happened before 11 p.m. Wednesday on I-275 South. Roman had hit an FHP vehicle before fleeing the scene and then hitting a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office vehicle. New information reports that Roman also had an accomplice with him. The accomplice — 30-year-old Mohammed Ali Pujol — had intentionally tried to hit a deputy with his silver Mercedes sedan. Pujol will also face many felony charges.
