TAMPA, FL – Hillsborough County deputies revealed that at least one person sustained injuries in a collision near University of South Florida Wednesday. 

Deputies arrived at the scene after 5 p.m. They are investigating the details of this crash and have not specified whether the sustained injuries were minor or major, revealed how the collision came about, or said how many vehicles and people were involved.

TAMPA, FL – One lane is blocked at the East Hillsborough Avenue and North 56th Street intersection due to an injury collision that took place before 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. 

Florida Highway Patrol arrived at the scene after 5 p.m. Troopers have yet to indicate how many people and vehicles were involved, specify the severity of injuries, or include details for what brought on this collision.

EAST TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police are investigating a collision in the College Hills neighborhood that happened before 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. 

This crash was reported on the 2709 block of East 25th Avenue. 

Officials have not disclosed the contributing factors, the number of people and vehicles, or said if anyone was hurt. 

TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol were called to a report of a hit-and-run crash outside a Walmart Supercenter on the 1505 block of North Dale Mabry Highway Monday. 

Troopers were made aware of the collision before 5:45 p.m. and arrived at the scene after 6 p.m. They have not indicated the exact details of the crash or said if injuries were sustained.

TAMPA, FL – A driver of a black Ford F-150 struck a Tampa Police officer on West Busch Boulevard Saturday, sending him to the hospital. 

The officer was responding to a report involving a person sleeping on the railroad tracks when he was struck by the pickup truck, according to ABC Action News. The force of the collision caused the officer to be dragged 75 feet. 

First responders took an officer to a hospital for treatment of serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
