TAMPA, FL – A hit-and-run collision in the East Lake-Orient Park area led at least one person to suffer injuries Monday. 

Hillsborough County deputies are on the scene of the crash – the East Hillsborough Avenue and North 59th Street junction. They have not detailed the specifics of this collision, which includes the number of people and vehicles involved, said if the injuries were minor or major, and indicated the contributing factors.

TAMPA, FL – A driver of a white Nissan SUV was thrown from his car and then succumbed to his injuries after it overturned near Rest Haven Memorial Park Friday. 

WFLA said this wreck occurred along North 42nd Street. Despite life-saving measures, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.  

Officials closed down North 42nd Street between Hillsborough Avenue and Comanche Avenue. Although impairment was not listed as a contributing factor, the driver was suspected of driving at a high rate.

Hillsborough County deputies responded to the scene after 5:15 p.m. They have not specified the exact cause of this crash, said if anyone was hurt, and other details, including the number of people and vehicles involved.

TAMPA, FL – At least one lane on northbound I-275 at mile marker 44 is blocked due to a collision that happened after 3 p.m. Wednesday.
