SARASOTA, FL – Sarasota Police were on the scene of a collision at the Fruitville Road and North Beneva Road junction in the Oakwood Manor area around 5 p.m. Wednesday. 

Police have not said how many occupants and automobiles there were if anyone was hurt, and what exactly led to this crash.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Hillsborough County deputies said that at least one person sustained injuries in a collision in Gibsonton Wednesday. 

Deputies were summoned to the crash site – the Gloria Street and Nundy Avenue intersection – around 5:40 p.m. Officials have not said what exactly led to the collision, indicated how many vehicles and people were involved, or specified the severity of injuries sustained.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – The left lane on the 6319 block of eastbound SR-64 in Bradenton is blocked due to a collision with injuries that happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday. 

Troopers are investigating what exactly caused this crash. They have not shared other information at this time, including how many people and vehicles were involved, or indicated the severity of injuries sustained.

SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – A crash with injuries was reported in the Gulf Gate Estates district before 4:45 p.m. Tuesday. 

This collision occurred at the Gateway Avenue and Stickney Point Road intersection, according to Sarasota County 911 Dispatch Reporting

Deputies have not said how many automobiles and people were involved, specified the severity of injuries sustained, or listed the contributing factors of this crash.

TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police were summoned to a crash that was reported west of the University of South Florida before 5 p.m. Tuesday. 

This collision took place on the 2700 block of East Fowler Avenue, according to the Police Traffic Calls for Service

Police have not listed the number of people and vehicles involved if anyone was hurt, and if speed and impairment were contributing factors in the collision.

TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries in a collision at the South 50th Street and Hartford Street junction Monday. 

Troopers arrived at the scene five minutes before 5 p.m., and they arrived before 5:30 p.m.

WEST TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police were summoned to a hit-and-run crash on the 1416 block of West Kennedy Boulevard in Hyde Park Monday. 

Police arrived at the scene around 3 p.m. Police have not said how many vehicles and people there were if anyone was hurt, and what the contributing factors of this collision were.

SARASOTA, FL – One person sustained minor injuries, and an 81-year-old man was left dead following a two-vehicle wreck Thursday. 

According to My SunCoast, this collision occurred when the 81-year-old man driving a sedan on westbound Clark Road (also known as State Road 72) failed to yield to oncoming traffic when turning left and collided with a truck hauling a trailer. 

Sarasota first responders said the driver of the truck swerved to avoid hitting the sedan, but the sedan initiated contact with the right side of the truck.

TAMPA, FL – Tampa Police were summoned to a collision on the 3506 block of West Obispo Street in the Palma Ceia district Friday evening. 

Police arrived at the scene after 6 p.m. They have not said how many vehicles and people were involved or what exactly led to the crash.

VALRICO, FL – A 34-year-old female driver suspected of impairment ran a red light and crashed into a deputy’s vehicle, leading the officer to sustain injuries. 

This wreck occurred at the South Valrico Road and East Lumsden Road intersection after 1 a.m. Friday, WTSP revealed. The deputy was operating a marked Chevrolet Tahoe on southbound Valrico Road when the woman – Brittny Moore – ran the “steady red light” and struck the officer. 

Moore had a blood alcohol level of .066 or .068 and was arrested for DUI. She was charged with DUI with, personal damage and personal injury.
