PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A vehicle wreck Friday afternoon left part of Interstate 275 blocked in west St. Petersburg, according to FL511 Tampa Bay.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes of I-275 at the ramp to eastbound I-175. It was first reported at about 3:32 p.m.
While the circumstances behind the event have not been disclosed, the right lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.
Motorists were asked to move over or slow down as a Road Ranger responded to the area.
By 3:39 p.m., the scene was reported cleared, but officials have not indicated whether anyone was hurt or had to be taken to a hospital.
