TAMPA, FL – A motorcyclist was taken to a hospital where he later died from his injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in the Hyde Park district Sunday.
This collision took place at around 1:30 a.m. at the South Howard Avenue and West Azeele Street junction, according to Fox 13 News.
Tampa Fire Rescue conducted life-saving measures on the motorcyclist before he later passed away at the hospital.
Officials said the driver remained at the scene. No pending charges or citations were revealed.
The area was closed off for the investigation period and scene clearance procedure. All lanes have reopened since.
