CLEARWATER, FL – A cyclist was rushed to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital after getting struck by an on-coming vehicle along Skycrest Park Friday.
The collision occurred after 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of Kenne Road and Cleveland Street, Fox13News reports.
First responders said the cyclist was left with potentially serious life-threatening injuries.
Crews had to shut down all of Cleveland Street and southbound Keene for the scene clean-up procedure and investigation.
Since the investigation is in the preliminary stages, Clearwater police have not been able to provide a definitive answer regarding the contributing factors and did not say if the driver or cyclist was cited for their involvement.
