ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A 25-year-old male motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries after getting struck by a Honda Civic north of Abercrombie Park Monday.
St. Petersburg police told IONTB that the Honda driver was trying to turn west onto 40th Avenue North from Park Street North when he went directly in front of the green Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle and collided with it. Police responded to the scene before 4 p.m. and said the motorcyclist was traveling south and the driver north when their vehicles crashed.
EMS crews transported the biker to HCA Florida St. Petersburg Hospital, where he died. He has since been identified as Christian O’Donnell.
