TAMPA, FL – A woman sustained minor wounds and was able to escape her burning vehicle after it crashed thanks to aid from a Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputy Monday.
This collision occurred around noon on Gunn Highway near Copeland Road, according to WFLA. Deputies told the source that the driver, a 70-year-old woman, drove through a fence and then a wooded area. First responders took the woman to a hospital, where she recovered.
