SARASOTA, FL – Two drivers sustained minor wounds in a multi-vehicle collision involving a school bus along TPC Prestancia Friday morning.
This crash happened after 7 a.m. at the intersection of Beneva Road and Sarasota Square Boulevard, ABC Action News reports. Preliminary details reveal that the events unfolded when a Honda Civic and a Ford Escape crashed. The impact propelled the Honda to move forward and hit the bus as a result.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office did not specify which motorists were hurt. They did confirm, however, that the 15 students on the bus were spared from injuries.
Deputies and crews shut down a majority of the intersection for standard scene clearance and investigation, and they have reopened the area since then.
