News: Male pedestrian, 63, fatally hit by car in Tampa

TAMPA, FL – A 63-year-old man crossing U.S. Highway 41 lost his life when he was hit by a Mazda 3 car Sunday night, WTSP reports. 

This collision happened around 8 p.m. Upon arrival, Florida Highway Patrol declared the male pedestrian, a Tampa local, dead at the scene. 

FHP said the driver, a 35-year-old man also from Tampa, is not expected to face any criminal charges for his involvement in this deadly wreck. 

Troopers launched an investigation and have not released additional details at this time.
