TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that it was a 47-year-old man from Winter Haven who died after crashing his motorcycle into a Tesla Model 3 on I-275 Friday.
New details from FOX13News indicate that the motorcyclist had drifted off his own lanes on the interstate on-ramp, leading him to collide with the car operated by a 49-year-old woman from Lithia. After arriving, Tampa Fire Rescue EMS rushed the motorcyclist to a nearby hospital, where he passed away.
The car driver and her passenger, a 19-year-old woman, were spared from injuries.
