BRANDON, FL – Hillsborough County deputies were summoned to a crash at Town Center Blvd. and South Gornto Lake Road that led at least one person to sustain wounds. 

Deputies arrived at the scene before 6 p.m. Wednesday. They are examining the details of events and have not included other details at this time.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A man, believed to be in his 60s or 70s, has passed away after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle Wednesday.

This crash happened before 7:15 a.m. in the 1800 block of 76th Place North, according to WFLA. The driver remained at the scene. It is unclear if charges or citations will be pursued.

TAMPA, FL – At least one lane is blocked at West Hillsborough Avenue and Memorial Highway in Bay Crest Park due to a crash with sustained injuries. 

Florida Highway Patrol was just summoned to the scene. They are investigating the events that led to this crash and have not provided further information at this time.

WIMAUMA, FL – The Hillsborough County deputies are investigating a collision along the Lake Wimauma Convention Center that led to sustained wounds. 

This crash was reported at the 13th Street and Center Street junction Tuesday afternoon. The events leading up to this collision remain unclear.

BRANDON, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a collision at the Providence Lakes Boulevard and Annapolis Way junction Monday. 

Hillsborough County deputies are currently at the scene of this crash. They have launched an investigation and have not provided additional information at this time.

PLANT CITY, FL – A 31-year-old man operating a motorcycle lost his life after he collided with a pickup truck at SR-60 and Turkey Creek Road Friday. 

WFLA said this collision happened before 6:30 p.m. when the pickup truck driver made a left-turn onto SR-60. The pickup truck driver — a 64-year-old man — was unharmed, while the motorcyclist, a Mulberry resident, died at the scene. 

Troopers did not say if intoxication, distracted driving, reduced visibility, or other factors contributed to this crash.

TAMPA, FL – A 23-year-old man driving a 2015 Chevrolet pickup truck was said to have traveled at a high rate and was impaired when he hit a male pedestrian, leading to his death. 

This collision happened before 3 a.m. Monday on East Adamo Drive, according to FOX 13 News. Tampa Police said first responders rushed the pedestrian — 24-year-old Pannel Datilus — to a hospital, where he later died. 

Police arrested the driver — Micahl Scott — for DUI.

SARASOTA, FL – Police were dispatched to a crash at Siesta Drive and South Tamiami Trail in the Granada area that led at least one person to sustain injuries Friday. 

Police arrived at the scene after 3:30 p.m. They are working to learn more about the events leading up to this crash and have not revealed pending charges or specified other information about this collision, including the types of people and vehicles involved.
