TAMPA, FL – An SUV driver was seriously hurt in a crash involving a semi-truck that happened south of the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office Orient Road Jail Friday. 

WTSP said this collision occurred at the East Adamo Drive and Orient Road junction, and Tampa Police responded to the crash after 5:30 p.m. Police immediately shut down the eastbound lanes (located between Maydell Drive and Orient Road) after arriving. 

It is not immediately clear when lanes reopened if the driver was transported to an area hospital, and what exactly led to this collision.

SARASOTA, FL – Sarasota fire crews and officials are investigating a collision that resulted in at least one person sustaining unspecified injuries Friday. 

This crash happened at the South Tuttle Avenue and Bee Ridge Road junction. First responders arrived at the scene before noon. 

Authorities have not yet revealed what led to this collision and specified the number of people and vehicles involved. More information will be posted as it becomes readily available.

EAST TAMPA, FL – A man lost his life after he crossed the North 40th Street and East Ellicott Street junction and was struck by a vehicle Thursday. 

Tampa Police responded to the scene after 6:30 p.m. and declared the man (whose name has not been released) dead at the scene, according to Fox 13 News

It is not immediately clear who had the right of way, if the driver remained at the scene, and mention of pending charges.

BRANDON, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a collision reported south of McLane Middle School Friday afternoon. 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the North Parsons Avenue and West Morgan Street junction after 5 p.m. They are investigating the exact details of this collision and have not provided more details at this time.

SARASOTA, FL – A pedestrian’s life was claimed when they were struck by a pickup truck driver suspected of impairment on State Road 72 around 7 p.m. Tuesday. 

The pedestrian, whose name was not released, was declared dead at the scene, FOX 13 News reported. Authorities arrested the driver — 59-year-old Douglas Cisler — for driving under the influence. 

This collision is under investigation, and no other details were provided at this time.

PALM HARBOR, FL – One person lost their life following a collision between an SUV and pickup truck on Tampa Road Thursday. 

WTSP said this crash happened near Lake Street George. It is unclear if the individual who passed away succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene or later at a hospital.   

Following the crash, troopers closed the eastbound directions of Tampa Road and have provided no updates at this time.

BRANDON, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office revealed that at least one person suffered injuries in a collision in Brandon Thursday. 

Deputies arrived at East Adamo Drive and Ware Boulevard before 6 p.m. They have not indicated the sequence of events that led to this crash, specified the severity of sustained wounds, or mentioned the number and kind of individuals and vehicles involved in this crash.

TAMPA, FL – At least one person suffered unspecified injuries following a crash in the Lake Forest neighborhood adjacent to Lettuce Lake Park Wednesday. 

The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office was summoned to the Bruce B Downs Boulevard and Cypress Cay Boulevard junction before 6:30 p.m. They are investigating the exact cause of this collision and have not provided information with regards to the number of people and vehicles involved or specified the severity of the suffered wounds.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A 68-year-old woman lost her life when she struck another vehicle and crashed into a concrete barrier wall, leading her car to catch fire Sunday. 

This collision happened when the driver attempted to switch lanes on State Road 400 West and unintentionally struck the other vehicle; as a result, WFLA confirmed. 

The other motorist was unscathed, and the woman (whose identity has not been released) succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene.

PINELLAS PARK, FL – A driver of a car turned left in front of a motorcycle, resulting in the two vehicles colliding, injuring the motorcycle operator and passenger Monday. 

According to a WFLA report, the motorcyclist was going north on the 8200 block of U.S. 19, and the driver was going south when the motorcycle operator struck the car’s passenger side. 

The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, who indicated no pending charges at this time.
