SARASOTA, FL – Florida HIghway Patrol confirmed that injuries were sustained in a crash that happened on I-75 North Friday.
At least one person was injured. Troopers are investigating the circumstances behind this collision and have not released more details.

MANATEE COUNTY, FL – A man and woman were seriously hurt, and an 11-year-old and 15-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries after a crash that involved heavy rain and a utility pole.
This fatal wreck occurred on State Road 62 Saturday, WTSP reported. The driver – a 43-year-old man – lost control of his car. It then left the road, and he collided with a utility pole.
The boys were pronounced dead at the scene, and the man and his front-seat passenger – a 34-year-old woman – were sent to the hospital for treatment.
TAMPA, FL – The Hillsborough County deputies said at least one was injured in a hit-and-run collision that happened in the Keystone Manors neighborhood Friday.
Deputies were dispatched to the scene – the South Mobley Road and Gunn Highway intersection – around 3:40 p.m.
