SARASOTA COUNTY, FL – A single-vehicle rollover collision on I-75 near Sarasota seriously injured one person and claimed one life before 7:30 p.m. Friday.
This collision occurred near mile marker 211, WFLA reported. Deputies shut down northbound I-75 for clearance and investigation.
No other details are available.
TAMPA, FL – No one was hurt in a collision that happened along Lettuce Lake Park at the East Fletcher Avenue and Kitten Drive junction Tuesday.
Hillsborough County deputies were called to the scene at approximately 7:36 p.m. They have not indicated the exact cause of this collision, revealed the number of people and vehicles involved, or said if anyone was hurt.

SARASOTA, FL – A multi-vehicle collision involving a motorcyclist in the Bee Ridge area left at least one person injured on Saturday afternoon.
According to WWSB, the incident took place just after noon at the intersection of Bee Ridge Road and McIntosh Road.
Few details about the crash are available at this time. However, authorities confirmed a motorcyclist was involved and one person as taken to a local hospital for treatment.
LAKELAND, FL – Right people were hospitalized after an Amtrak train collided with a semi-truck in Lakeland last Friday night.
According to WESH, the train, bound for New York, hit the semi-truck as it was stopped on the tracks crossing North Canal Avenue, just south of US-92.
In total, eight victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. It is unclear whether the truck driver suffered injuries as a result of the crash.
ST. PETERSBURG, FL – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a hit-and-run on the Gandy Bridge early Sunday.
According to a Patch report, the 20-year-old motorcyclist was heading west on the bridge at about 3 a.m. when he was struck by a Tesla Model 3 that was heading the same direction.
The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. No updates on his condition are available at this time.

WIMAUMA, FL – One person suffered serious injuries in a collision involving a cement truck and a Corvette that occurred in Wimauma early Friday.
According to WTSP, the collision took place around 5:35 a.m. at the intersection of State Road 674 and County Road 579.
According to authorities, a Corvette was traveling in the west on SR-674 when it swerved into the path of an eastbound cement mixer truck, resulting in a head-on collision between the two vehicles.
TAMPA, FL – One man was killed and another was rushed to the hospital following a wrong-way crash in east Tampa on Friday morning.
According to WFLA, the crash occurred when a vehicle entered the I-75 exit ramp at SR-574 traveling the wrong direction and slammed head-on into a van.
The wrong-way driver, a 36-year-old Tampa man, was extricated from his burning vehicle and rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
BRADENTON, FL – Troopers revealed that injuries were sustained in a collision that occurred close to the Lakewood National Golf Club Thursday afternoon.
This collision occurred at the eastbound SR-70 and 197th Street E junction, according to the FHP live traffic report page. Officials were called to this crash before 1:45 p.m. and arrived at the scene at approximately 2:17 p.m.

SARASOTA SPRINGS, FL – Sarasota County officers were on the scene of a crash with injuries that occurred in Sarasota Springs Thursday.
This collision happened at the Webber Street and Legacy Trail intersection before 8:30 a.m. At least one person sustained injuries.
