BRANDON, FL – Hillsborough County deputies said at least one person sustained injuries in a crash on the 1602 block of Oakfield Drive Wednesday.  

Deputies responded to the scene around 2:40 p.m. Officials have not said what led to this collision, indicated if anyone was hurt, or revealed the number of occupants and automobiles involved.

THONOTOSASSA, FL – A fatality was reported after a crash between a motorcycle and a white Chevy car at the U.S. 301 and Williams Road before 11 p.m. Monday. 

As shown in a report from WFLA, the Chevy sustained heavy front-end damage, and the motorcycle was destroyed. It is unclear what contributed to this wreck or who died.

BRANDON, FL – Hillsborough County deputies were summoned to a crash with injuries in the Pine Grove Reserve before 4 p.m. Monday. 

This collision took place at the Bloomingdale Avenue and Springvale Drive intersection. 

Officials have not said how many people and vehicles were involved, specified the severity of injuries, or indicated if speed or impairment were contributing factors.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – Hillsborough County deputies said that at least one person sustained injuries in a collision in Gibsonton Wednesday. 

Deputies were summoned to the crash site – the Gloria Street and Nundy Avenue intersection – around 5:40 p.m. Officials have not said what exactly led to the collision, indicated how many vehicles and people were involved, or specified the severity of injuries sustained.

VALRICO, FL – A 34-year-old female driver suspected of impairment ran a red light and crashed into a deputy’s vehicle, leading the officer to sustain injuries. 

This wreck occurred at the South Valrico Road and East Lumsden Road intersection after 1 a.m. Friday, WTSP revealed. The deputy was operating a marked Chevrolet Tahoe on southbound Valrico Road when the woman – Brittny Moore – ran the “steady red light” and struck the officer. 

Moore had a blood alcohol level of .066 or .068 and was arrested for DUI. She was charged with DUI with, personal damage and personal injury.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a crash near Big Bend Professional Park Thursday, Hillsborough County deputies revealed. 

Deputies arrived at the collision site – the Summerfield Crossing Boulevard and Summerfield Commerce D Park junction – after 6:40 p.m. 

Officials have not indicated how many people and vehicles were involved and what exactly led to this collision.

SEFFNER, FL – A pregnant woman died and another person was injured in a two-vehicle wreck that occurred around 6 a.m. Wednesday. 

The fatal crash happened at the I-4 and U.S. 92 interchange along Mango Road. While we do not know what led up to the collision, aerial footage taken by WTSP showed an SUV overturned on its side and a pickup truck with a destroyed hood. 

Medics transported two people to the hospital, where one – a pregnant woman – later died. The other’s injuries do not appear to be life-threatening.

RUSKIN, FL – At least one person suffered injuries following a collision in Ruskin Friday afternoon, Florida Highway Patrol revealed. 

Troopers were dispatched to the College Avenue East and 24th Street Southeast intersection before 3 p.m. They arrived at the scene at approximately 3:06 p.m. 

Officials blocked at least one lane. They have yet to say what led to this crash, indicate how many people and vehicles were involved, or specify the severity of injuries sustained.

SEFFNER, FL – A 22-year-old man was suspected to be under the influence when he drove the wrong way on I-4 in Seffner, causing a five-vehicle wreck with injuries Friday. 

This collision happened before 3:45 a.m. when the driver – Arda Sengun – drove east on westbound I-4 and crashed into a Mercedes traveling in the middle lane, according to WFLA

A driver of a pickup truck braked in an attempt to avoid the initial crash. However, a driver rear-ended the pickup truck driver. The impact led the pickup truck to rotate on the shoulder before hitting a parked tractor-trailer.
