RIVERVIEW, FL – Traffic is at a standstill on I-75 North due to a collision reported after 5 p.m. Friday that led at least one person to sustain injuries. 

Florida Highway Patrol has not shut down any lanes at this time. They are investigating the circumstances that led to this crash and have not stated when the scene should clear. In addition, they have not specified the kind of people and vehicles involved.

LUTZ, FL – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a Friday afternoon collision at U.S. Highway 41 and Crystal Lake Road that injured at least one person. 

Deputies revealed this crash occurred on the northbound lanes. They have not revealed the contributing factors leading up to this collision, specified the severity of the injuries sustained, or listed the number and kind of people and vehicles involved.

THONOTOSASSA, FL – A woman who was said to have been impaired when she fatally struck a pedestrian in December was arrested on Monday, February 5th. 

This collision happened at the Harney Road and Williams Road on Tuesday, December 19th, according to FOX 13 News. The pedestrian was identified as 30-year-old Sabrina Rohrback. 

The intoxicated motorist — 34-year-old Tamra Warden — had a 3-year-old child with her at the time of the collision. Warden had a blood alcohol level of 0.14, which is six times over the legal limit. Warden has been “charged with DUI manslaughter, child neglect, and DUI accompanied by a person under 18.”

WIMAUMA, FL – The Hillsborough County deputies are investigating a collision along the Lake Wimauma Convention Center that led to sustained wounds. 

This crash was reported at the 13th Street and Center Street junction Tuesday afternoon. The events leading up to this collision remain unclear.

BRANDON, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a collision at the Providence Lakes Boulevard and Annapolis Way junction Monday. 

Hillsborough County deputies are currently at the scene of this crash. They have launched an investigation and have not provided additional information at this time.

PLANT CITY, FL – A 31-year-old man operating a motorcycle lost his life after he collided with a pickup truck at SR-60 and Turkey Creek Road Friday. 

WFLA said this collision happened before 6:30 p.m. when the pickup truck driver made a left-turn onto SR-60. The pickup truck driver — a 64-year-old man — was unharmed, while the motorcyclist, a Mulberry resident, died at the scene. 

Troopers did not say if intoxication, distracted driving, reduced visibility, or other factors contributed to this crash.

BRANDON, FL – Passengers were unharmed after they were struck by a driver in the 950 block of West Brandon Boulevard, who then fled the scene Thursday.
