PALM HARBOR, FL – One person lost their life following a collision between an SUV and pickup truck on Tampa Road Thursday. 

WTSP said this crash happened near Lake Street George. It is unclear if the individual who passed away succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene or later at a hospital.   

Following the crash, troopers closed the eastbound directions of Tampa Road and have provided no updates at this time.

PINELLAS PARK, FL – At least one person sustained injuries in a five-car collision that led a truck to roll over Wednesday morning, WTSP reported. 

This crash occurred at the 66th Street North and 102nd Avenue North junction. The impact had led the truck to overturn in the crosswalk along a concrete barrier, causing a Jeep to turn slightly sideways. 

The injuries sustained were minor.

CLEARWATER, FL – A 16-year-old boy riding a scooter was sent to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries after getting hit by a Chevrolet Equinox Monday. 

According to ABC Action News, this collision took place after 5:30 p.m. at Seminole Street & Pennsylvania Avenue, adjacent to the Jack Russell Stadium. 

First responders took the teenager to Bayfront Health Street for treatment. The Chevrolet driver was unharmed.

OLDSMAR, FL – A 78-year-old man suffered fatal injuries after he was crossing the Tampa Road and Burbank Road junction and was struck by a Toyota Camry Friday. 

This collision was reported before noon, as indicated in an ABC Action News report. Pinellas County deputies said the driver — 68-year-old Pascalia Mbetera — was driving east on Tampa Road when he struck the pedestrian using a roller walker to cross the road. 

The pedestrian, who was identified as Frank Adams, was sent to a hospital where he later died.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – Florida Highway Patrol confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries in a crash at East Lake Road South and Tampa Road Monday. 

Troopers were dispatched to the scene after 7:15 p.m. and arrived at the scene after 7:30 p.m. No lanes are blocked.

LARGO, FL – Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to a reported hit-and-run collision at the Ulmerton Road and 66th Street junction at 7:53 p.m. Thursday. 

Troopers arrived at the scene a short time later at 7:57 p.m. 

The exact cause of this crash was not revealed. It is unclear if anyone was injured, how many people and automobiles were involved, or what the suspect and their vehicle looked like.

LARGO, FL – A 15-year-old teenager was sent to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries after getting hit by a Pinellas County vehicle near Largo Thursday. 

This collision occurred in the area of 137th Street and Ridgeland Drive, ABC Action News reported.

It is unclear who had the right of way at the time of the collision.

ST. PETERSBURG, FL – The eastbound turn lane at the Ulmerton Road and Feather Sound Drive junction has been blocked following an injury crash Thursday. 

Florida Highway Patrol was dispatched to the crash site at approximately 7:43 p.m. Officials have not indicated the exact details of this collision, including when the scene will clear.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL – A 22-year-old man lost his life when he crashed his motorcycle into a concrete barrier on the 4th Street North off-ramp leading to I-275 Thursday. 

This fatal wreck occurred before 4:30 a.m., according to ABC Action News. Florida Highway Patrol said that, for whatever reason, he drove past the closed entrance signs before striking the concrete barrier. 

First responders rushed the man to a hospital, where he later died. Officials have only identified him as a man from South Carolina and have not released his name at this time.
