TAMPA, FL – A man died from his injuries in a collision caused by a 30-year-old man who was charged with DUI manslaughter Tuesday. 

This crash happened before 9:45 p.m. in front of Carrabba’s Italian Grill, located at 700 North Dale Mabry Highway, WFLA reported. 

It is unclear if the man who died operated a different vehicle, was a passenger inside the 30-year-old man’s car, or was a pedestrian.

TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a collision reported before 4 p.m. Tuesday north of the Tampa International Airport. 

Troopers arrived at the scene — the North Dale Mabry Highway and West Idlewild Avenue — at 4:15 p.m. 

Officials have not yet indicated the events that led up to this crash or said if anyone was injured.

TAMPA, FL – A man lost his life shortly after he was struck by a vehicle at the East Busch Boulevard and North 50th Street junction Sunday. 

This crash happened before 8:30 a.m. in the Temple Terrace district, according to ABC Action News

First responders conducted life-saving measures on the man and then took him to a hospital, where he later died.

TAMPA, FL – Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run collision reported in the Pinecrest West Park neighborhood Friday afternoon. 

This crash happened at the Dale Mabry Highway and Pine Crest Manor Boulevard junction. Troopers were dispatched to the scene at 2:36 p.m. and arrived at the crash site at 3 p.m. 

Officials said no roads were blocked, did not indicate sustained wounds, and did not provide a description of the suspect or their vehicle.

Deputies arrived at the scene — the 12418 block of Morris Bridge Road — before 5:45 p.m. They are investigating the details leading up to this crash and have not provided other information at this time.

TAMPA, FL – A chain reaction collision on I-275 led a Kenworth garbage truck to overturn, leading it to spill sand and diesel fuel, resulting in four people sustaining injuries Wednesday. 

WFLA said the events of the crash unfolded before 7:45 a.m. when a driver of a Ford F-150 struck the back of a Ford F250. The motorist of the Ford F250 had allegedly failed to reduce their speed, resulting in the rear end. When both pickup trucks collided, they then crashed into a concrete wall. 

The Ford F150 driver then struck a Dodge Challenger and then into the dump truck, which led the Challenge and garbage truck to roll over.

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, FL – A motorcycle passenger lost her life after her motorcycle operator, who was intoxicated, crashed into a guardrail in Tampa Saturday. 

This collision happened before 4:15 a.m. at the northbound I-275 and eastbound I-4 junction, according to ABC Action News. First responders took the passenger, a 29-year-old woman, to a hospital, where she later died. 

Florida Highway Patrol said the motorcycle operator — 37-year-old Jonathon Wing — was riding a Yamaha YZF-R1 motorcycle.

RIVERVIEW, FL – A pickup truck driver tried to change lanes, leading them to collide with another pickup truck, claiming their lives and the lives of two boys and a 34-year-old woman. 

This collision happened after 3 p.m. Wednesday on I-75, north of the Selmon Expressway, according to Bay News 9. After the driver of the first pickup truck collided with the second vehicle, their truck overturned, while the second truck eventually stopped in an emergency lane. 

The driver of the first truck, a 36-year-old adult, and a 12-year-old boy, and a 34-year-old woman succumbed to fatal wounds at the scene. The other passenger, a 14-year-old boy, was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
