TAMPA, FL – One person had to go to a hospital after they were struck by a car that backed into a McDonald’s restaurant at 100119 East Adamo Drive Thursday.
Hillsborough County Fire Rescue responded to the area before 12:30 p.m., according to WFLA. First responders said another person was also hit by the car but did not sustain serious wounds and did not need to go to the hospital.
A photo from the source revealed the car (which was slightly damaged) was a gray Hyundai Sonata and showed that the majority of the window was shattered, with pieces of glass spreading on the restaurant’s floor and the booths.
